Antivirus Live is a rogue (a combination if adware/spyware and a virus disguising itself as an antivirus, also called Antivirus live platinum) security program that is very tough and difficult to remove.
First of all, it prevents you from using your computer because every time you try to open a file or run an application, this fake antivirus program will tell you that it is infected by causing several pop-up ads and fake security warnings to appear. These ads and warnings will appear so frequently that you are unable to do much work with your computer. In effect, your computer is being held hostage and the message is that you need to get the paid version to get rid of the alleged malware programs.

In reality, if there are any malware programs in your system, it is likely that Antivirus Live had put them there. This is one reason that this rogue security program is dangerous. This browser component prevents you from visiting any other sites except the site for Antivirus Live. This is to prevent you from connecting to the websites of legitimate antivirus programs. It also disables the Task Manager and will prevent well-known antivirus programs from running in your computer.
